Rubber Mold Making Workshop

Rubber Mold Making Workshop - 2.5 days

Rubber molds are valuable 'tools' for casting multiple works. Complete one rubber mold from your chosen object using a 1 part rubber/2 part plaster case method of molding. Small class size of 5-6 students.

Explore Glass Casting - using open molds and clay models

Enjoy quick success with Glass Casting.
Explore clay as a modelling material, open-cast molds, depth, relief, texture, colour and transparency of Blackwood Casting Crystal. Create 2 small pieces (250g each) and 1 larger piece (1-1.5kg).

Class size - 10 students maximum.

This course is aimed at students who have already attended Techniques of Glass Casting – 3 day Workshop with Di Tocker. You will be able to mold larger objects (up to 3kg glass / 0.85g wax), cast 2 objects, mix casting colours and spend more time finishing your glass pieces.

Continue with Casting - 3 day Workshop - Term 1

Continue with Casting - 3 days - Offering tailored tutoring to your needs

This course is suitable for those who have completed Techniques of Glass Casting and the intermediate level course.

Three days are spaced through out each term and allow each student to work independently on their own glass pieces. Continue all year completing 12 days in Di's purpose built casting studio or come for just 3 days. There are no set activities - work at your pace on wax, molding or finishing.

Small class sizes, 4-6 students.

Term 1 - Fridays 9.30-2.30 - March 1, March 22 and April 12
