Unity III

Unity III came into being 16 years after the original idea and first iteration.

Inspired by the work of British sculptor Barbara Hepworth, I use seemingly simple forms brought together to create a quiet conversation about relationships, connection and support. Two companions lean into one another while remaining side-by-side — connected, yet retaining their own distinct identities.

The exposed, polished edges invite light into the work, creating beautiful shifts and reflections while offering glimpses into the glass. These moments of transparency reveal something of what lies within, reinforcing the idea that strength can exist both independently and through connection.

Unity III is ultimately a meditation on togetherness: on two individual forms supporting one another without losing themselves.
