It was love at first sight!

I first discovered Di Tocker’s glass work at an exhibition about ten years ago, and it was love at first sight. I have always particularly loved the “people on shapes/firgurative” works, so when the opportunity came to commission Truly Deeply, I was thrilled by the idea of having a sculpture I already loved the form of, but in a colour palette that really spoke to me.

The whole process, from beginning to end, was really easy. Di was a great communicator and made everything feel straightforward and enjoyable.

When I first saw the finished sculpture, I gasped when I opened the photo Di sent me. It was an instant heart reaction - I just loved it!

And living with my Truly Deeply glass artwork has been pure joy. Every time I see it, it makes me really happy.

I would absolutely recommend commissioning one of Di’s artworks. At first, I felt it might be a little rude to request a familiar form in a different colour palette, but Di assured me that my ideas were valued and now I have a special piece of art that fits beautifully into my home.
